Our unique approach to interior design involves incorporating cherished pieces from our clients' homes into their new designs, giving each space a curated and functional design. We believe in sustainability, keeping old furniture pieces refinishing and refurbishing your personal furniture pieces to create a harmonious blend of old and new, resulting in a design that is both comfortable, functional for your family and you help save the planet. Meet Your Designer
La Wanda Turner
Hello, my name is La Wanda, but you can call me Wanda! While juggling the role of mother to three adult sons, grandmother to three, and great-grandmother to one is a part of my life that I love. Second comes interior design, refurbishing furniture and repurposing furniture in home designs.
I worked in corporate American for 30 years before I decided to change to a new career in insurance in 2019, which was an interesting business to be in. After receiving my license, I began by selling Medicare Advantage plans in 2020, which I did for four years. I retired last year and decided it was time to follow my passion with interior design, I've worked with furniture refurbishing and woodworking since 2015. Being a creative is something that is engrained in my soul, it's something I love to do and see people happy with the finished product.
Graduating from the New York Institute of Art and Design (NYIAD) in March 2024. After graduating, I worked on and established LMTurner Interior Design, in June 2024, based in Waco, TX., where we serve the surrounding areas of Waco.
We offer e-design services nationwide, as well as full interior design services. My design philosophy is incorporating beautiful furniture pieces you currently have in your home refurbish, refinish or reupholster that piece and incorporate it into your home to enhance your design style. There is nothing better than doing what I love, interior design and furniture refurbishing to have clients love their homes. I look forward to working with you to design your dream living spaces is functional and comfortable for you and your family.
