L' Art DeVivre Interior Design Studio, based in Waco, Texas. was founded with passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces using the clients vintage treasures in their new design. We specialize in residential and e-design, during the Christmas holiday season we also offer hoiday decorating services, using the clients decorations, decorating from a designers eye.
Our unique approach to interior design involves incorporating cherished treasures we repurpose from our clients' homes into their designs, giving each space a curated and functional design. We believe in recycling and repurposing your personal treasures to create a harmonious blend of old and new, resulting in a design that is both unique and sustainable. By recycling your treasures, we are not only keeping them from the landfill, but recreating your pieces to fit in your new style and design. Our talented designers are dedicated to understanding your vision and bringing it to life, ensuring that every project reflects your personality and meets your specific needs.
Meet Your Designer
La Wanda Turner
Hello, my name is La Wanda, but you can call me Wanda! Juggling the roles of a mother to three adult sons, grandmother to three, and great-grandmother to one is a part of my life that I love. Second comes interior design, refurbishing furniture and repurposing that furniture in home designs.
I worked in corporate American for 30 years before I decided to change to a new career in insurance in 2018, which was an interesting business to be in. I mainly sold Medicare Advantage plans for four years. I retired last year and decided it was time for be to follow my passion and what burned deep in my soul. So, I turned my sights to interior design, I had been working with furniture refurbishing and woodworking since 2015.
In June 2024, I established L'Art DeVivre Interior Design Studio, (The Art of Living Interior Design Studio), following my graduation from the New York Institute of Art and Design (NYIAD) in March 2024. My design studio is based in Waco, TX. My design studio offers e-design services nationwide, as well as full interior design services. My design philosophy involves incorporating the beautiful treasures you currently have in your home and recycle them into your home to enhance your design style. There is nothing better than doing what I love, interior design and furniture refurbishing to make others happy and love their homes . I look forward to collaborating with you to design your ideal living spaces.
